In person at New York Zendo Shobo-ji
223 East 67th Street
New York, NY 10065
Event Description:
Throughout 2025, our sangha will have a focus on Akshobhya, the Blue Buddha of the East.
Ananta will lead a practice morning introducing the figure and his significance in the context of our everyday practice. Who is Akshobhya? Why is he blue? What is that thing he holds in his hand? How is he relevant to my life?
All these questions and more will be answered through a morning of meditation, discussion, friendship, and ritual.
Join us at the New York Zendo (223 E 67th St, New York, NY 10065) for a morning of meditation, discussion, ritual, and connecting with community, followed by lunch at 1:15 p.m. @ Le Botaniste UES, which serves 100% organic, plant-based food. You can find it at 833 Lexington Avenue (between 63rd & 64th St).
This event is OPEN TO ALL—all are welcome.
