Meditating with Kindness: An Essential 4-Week Guide for Everyone

Meditating With Kindness
Led By: Ananta and Silasiddhi
Monday evenings, 4 weeks
February 3rd to February 24th, 2025
6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. EST

Online via Zoom

Course Description:

“Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. The third is to be kind.”
— Henry James

Kindness-based meditations address habitual patterns of mind that lead into negative emotions — anger, shame, anxiety.

In this course, we will look at what kindness actually is, how we put kindness into practice in our daily lives, and a range of meditation techniques for cultivating kindness.

Throughout the course, you will develop a greater capacity to respond to difficult experiences with kindly awareness — leading to resilience, confidence, and calm.

Agenda:

  • Brief meditation

  • Check-in

  • Week’s leader will discuss the material

  • Small group discussion

  • Reconvene with the entire class

  • Short closing meditation (if time permits)
