Event Description:

We’ve been organizing monthly weekend practice days in NYC as a chance to come together and practice in community. For this December NYC practice day, the theme will be Just Being: The Joy and Beauty of Being Totally Present in Our Lives.

Our practice day will dive into the inspiration, joy, and liberation that arise when we bring total awareness and presence to each living moment — with explorations on why something so simple and profound can also seem so hard (and what to do about it!).

Join us at the New York Zendo (223 E 67th St, New York, NY 10065) for a morning of meditation, discussion, ritual, and connecting with community, followed by lunch at 1:15 p.m. @ Le Botaniste UES, which serves 100% organic, plant-based food. You can find it at 833 Lexington Avenue (between 63rd & 64th St). After that, you can join us for a cultural excursion nearby.

This event is OPEN TO ALL—all are welcome.
