Compassion is an important part of the Buddhist path, and one of the four “divine dwelling” states of the heart. It is a complex state that, when cultivated, responds effectively to suffering with care and attention and a willingness to act to relieve such suffering. Compassion is most effective when married with wisdom. Come join us as we explore this essential state of being through inquiry, meditative practices, and dialogue.
